Immortalized Pets

Pets are brilliant. They provide people with love and companionship and expect little in return. But which pet is right for you?

custompendants 85024 thumb Immortalized PetsIf it is your first time choosing a pet then it may be an idea to go for something small and easy to look after. Hamsters, gerbils and mice are often chosen as pets as they do not require walking or grooming. Small rodents need fresh food and water every day, a clean bed to sleep in and a warm environment. That’s about as far as their needs go.

Cats are also quite easy to look after. Because they love their freedom cats will often venture outside all day (or night) and not worry about their poor owners fretting over them. They will come and snuggle up to you when they’re ready and not the other way around! Cats expect food and water several times a day and a warm snuggly place to sleep.

Dogs are more of a time consuming pet. They require walks up to three times a day and feeding at least twice a day. Because dogs vary in size and breed they all require different things. A long haired dog will need grooming daily while an overweight dog may need expensive food. Vets bills are usually quite high with dogs and they are definitely an investment pet.

If you know someone who loves their animals why not get them some custom jewelry as a gift. The custom jewelry lets you put any picture onto (just like putting a name to an engravable cufflink) it so it will be a wonderful keepsake for years to come. Try the custom photo pendant for a loved one and watch their eyes light up as they see their pet immortalized forever.

Her Good Luck Charm

June 11th, 2009

My cousin has always been really talented. You could tell from a young age that she had a gift for singing and music. Whenever she heard a song she could pick up the words so quickly and would immediately be able to recite it back to you. She learned many musical instruments as a child like the piano, guitar and violin, but she continued with the piano long into her 20s.

We were big fans of America’s Got Talent so it was obvious to us that she should go on it. She, on the other hand, was quite hesitant. She didn’t have much self esteem and didn’t think she was any good. It took a lot of persuading to get her to even apply for the show let alone go for the audition. The day came and she auditioned. She had been practicing so much but unfortunately nerves had gotten the better of her. She stumbled through the audition and she didn’t make it to the next round. Even though she was disappointed she knew she could have done better. She vowed to try again next year but this time she said she’d be a bit more confident in her talents.

She had practiced a lot and it took a lot of courage to stand up there on that stage. I was looking for a pair of cufflinks but I found her a custom photo pendant with a photo of her at her audition. Now when she looks at her custom jewelry it gives her more strength and determination to do better next time. Good luck Cindy!
