Be Neat, Clip Your Money!
May 10th, 2009
I once attended a business lunch meeting with several members of our team. Being the only lady in our group, I was happy to observe my colleagues’ mannerisms and behavior during lunch. You know, men can be really clumsy when it comes to keeping their money. Since their wallets can only hold bills, they just put their coins anywhere else and I can hear some rattling while the men walked around. Funny! It got me into thinking that there is really a big difference in the amount of effort men and women put into their appearances and their everyday look. While we women even make sure that our bag is tidy even when no one really looks at it, men can afford to walk around with their coins on their pockets! So I was particularly impressed with Danny, a colleague from HR. He was assigned to pay for that particular lunch and he took out this wad of bills from his pocket, but they were neatly held together by a money clip.
Sleek money clips make an impression
So he didn’t have to fuss around looking for bills from his wallet, or worse, checking all his pockets for money! I thought there and then that all men should have their very own money clip. Danny’s was a black stainless steel act, and it really was sleek!
Well, it made me remember him, didn’t it? There are only a few accessories men bother with, so why not a money clip, which even serves a purpose? Am I right, ladies?
