Many people love to paint. Some love to paint in abstracts while some love to paint landscapes, seascapes, the human form and whatever else catch their attention. Oftentimes, people who love to paint are free spirits and they believe that there is no other way to live than to be honest with the way you feel and the way you express yourself through art – in whatever form. Also, they are used to wearing just a simple white shirt and jeans since they’re always painting anyway so it’s not much trouble even if their wardrobes get stained with paint.

But what does a painter do when he gets invited to a gala where he will be honored? These events are usually black tie events. As much as a painter doesn’t want to dress up in fancy clothes, he will have to dress up a bit just so the guards out front would let him enter. This may be a big problem for him. My cousin is about to graduate from college after studying law. He has been all around the world( Paris, Berlin, London) and has accumulated quite a bit of stuff on his travels. I wanted to give him a present that he didn’t already have and that no one would think to buy him. I didn’t know that much about my cousins tastes because he had spent so long travelling we had grown apart and so now I had the daunting task of finding a present for what seemed like a stranger! The only thing I really knew about him was that he loved law. So I went in search of a gift that was within my price range, which was $100 to $200, and that was unique. When I saw a pair of cufflinks - a work-related cufflinks - in the jewelry store I knew I had found the right gift. I searched on the internet and found these Sterling Legal Gavel cufflinks. They were perfect! Because they are silver they are the type of thing he can pass down to his children and grandchildren and so on. And they came gift wrapped too which was one less job for me. So now we are off to his graduation day and we are having a party afterwards. And with a bit of luck I may even get free legal advice if I ever need it!
