Getting Hold of the City with Stop Light Cufflinks

What could be said about the city? Some see it as ruthless. Some see it as advanced and leads society to new possibilities.

Generalizations like these aren’t always accurate. In fact, the two polarized view of the city often puts the urban man as the rope in a tug-of-war that is to split his being open if not wholly exposed to unfriendly and very, very unstable weather.

But, disregarding the city’s effects on man, the conclusions earlier nevertheless suggest the city’s nature: of speed, ready to claim time and space. Under such idealization, we may have the stop light as the perfect representation of the city. The stop light when perceived in its materiality, specifically its role in the city everyday, acts as the conscience that retains reason within. The problem in that argument is that the stop light is mechanical and is bound to fail always some time soon.

So how about the one that is alive? How about you, who had lived in the city for so long? How are you to define yourself with regards to the geography you are located in?

It’s quite odd to realize that when we refer to our mobility, we only do it because of a drive to leave something rather than it being simply innate. And talking about intentions, referring to our mobility, especially considering where we are located in a society, should remind us that change is not free flowing, the same with stop lights giving the city’s chaos a reason to strive for order.

And what gives you order? What makes your image? You do have a suit do you? Then you’ll be needing designer cufflinks. Celebrate our mobility by having car cufflinks. Be proud of being in control by flaunting that stop light cufflinks in a roomful of people. Be your crowd’s reason within. Define yourself and be located.

Happy Holidays!

Backpacking can be an amazing way to see the world. As can taking a cruise. But no matter where you go, it never quite feels like home.

A lot of people back pack around the world when they are taking a year out between school and college. Back packing is a cheap alternative to travel and really allows you to see the countries you visit properly rather than the country they want the tourists to see. Hostels are the main place of accommodation but these are not as bad as they seem. They are basic but they are also full of like- minded students and young adults who are all there for the same reason and that is to sample the cultures of other worlds. Back packing also allows you to create your own itinerary. You can stay in one place for as long or as sort a period as you want. If you are enjoying yourself there is nothing stopping you from staying there and with lots of new friends to meet the chances are you’ll want to stay there permanently.

Cruising is also a wonderful way to view the world. Seeing different countries from the sea to the shore is a beautiful sight and day trips into these wonderful countries will fulfill your need to learn about new cultures. Cruising is a more sophisticated, laid back way to travel and you will be dining in style every night along with entertainment to keep you amused.
